Veronica Gomoll has been playing the piano for over 30 years, and has over 20 years of experience playing weddings and events. Still, she is constantly learning new songs of all genres and loves to personalize your wedding music to be exactly what you want, whether you are dreaming of a classy traditional or an edgy modern vibe. Veronica is relaxed yet in command at the piano; she rolls with whatever happens while ensuring that your wedding ceremony will go as smoothly as humanly possible.
Veronica began piano lessons at the age of 5 and continued weekly lessons for the next 12 years (shameless and unsponsored plug for the best piano teacher in the world here). She became a pianist for her church at age 12, and age 14 she played her first wedding. She soon became the go-to event pianist for her family and friends and has played hundreds of weddings, funerals, and graduation ceremonies. She was chosen as a teenager to perform in the Young Musicians Series at the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center. Veronica sat for the American College of Musicians Piano Guild auditions for 6 years and received a Superior Plus rating and membership in the National Roll each year she auditioned. She is known for playing with a great depth of emotion.
Veronica is married and lives in Woodstock, Illinois with her husband, three children, and gray tortie cat, Marigold. A few fun facts about Veronica: she loves coaching swim team, she was a clinical microbiologist for 10 years before she had children, she loves to crochet, and is learning to play the lyre in her “spare” time.
