I keep a running list of the most popular wedding processional songs I get asked to play as an Illinois wedding pianist. These lists get harder to make as I have seen a definite trend away from the traditional processionals toward individualized song choices and I get asked to play everything from Star Wars to My Chemical Romance, but there are definitely some elegant piano favorites that I see requested in the Chicago area over and over again.
